HS HOMECOMING DANCE TICKETS
HS Students please buy your homecoming dance tickets on Monday, November 6th during the “flash sale” for $40 dollars. Tickets will increase to $50, on Tuesday, November 7th through 9th, for the event at Casa Vertigo (1828 Oak St, Los Angeles, CA 90018) from 7:00pm to 11:00pm. No tickets will be sold at the door. Please go to the Student Store to purchase your tickets. You may bring guests from other schools, as long as you have a completed “Guest Pass” on file with Ms. Lopez (AP) or Ms. Nyandemoh (Financial Manager). Thank you. (Nyandemoh, 11/17)

The Multicultural Visit Program (MVP) is an excellent opportunity for interested high school seniors of underrepresented backgrounds to visit Oxy’s campus from Thursday, November 10th to Saturday, November 12th; housing and meals are included. Athletic Paperwork Reminder
HS Students who are interested in Winter Season sports, please make sure that your athletic paperwork and physical clearance is completed and submitted to Mr. Stahura, before trying out, or attending practice. If you are interested in Boys/Girls Soccer or Boys/Girls Basketball, please come by Room H19 at nutrition or lunch to get the forms. You must have a physical completed within one year, in order to participate in any sport. (Stahura, 10/27)
College Fair 2017--Local District Central
Meet representatives from over 40 colleges and universities at the College and Career Fair at Cortines VAPA HS, on Thursday, October 19, 2017, from 4:00 to 6:00pm. A parent information session will be held at 5:30pm in the Cortines VAPA Gymnasium at 450 N. Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012. (LD Central, 10/19)

IT'S TIME TO GET READY FOR THE PSAT!
Foshay will administer the PSAT to students in grades 8-11 on Wednesday, October 11th. Students in grades 8 & 9 will need to pay their PSAT test fee to Ms. Beebe in S340 or at nutrition behind the Theater before Friday, October 6th! (Beebe, 9/22)
Breakfast at Foshay is now "Grab and Go"
Students, due to the construction project on campus, the breakfast distribution will change from "Breakfast in the Classroom" to "Grab and Go". Food will no longer be served in the classrooms during the first period of the day. This means that if you desire to eat breakfast at school, you will need to arrive earlier to log in to one of the three distribution carts in order to receive food. Food will begin to be distributed at approximately 7:30am and will end at 7:50am (first bell). If you have any questions, please see Ms. Gonzalez (AP). (Lopez, 10/1)
