SSC Parent Orientation and Elections Meeting

Join the School Site Council (SSC)!
The SSC is a decision-making group required at all schools receiving Title I funds. It includes students, parents, teachers, and community members who work together to improve our school. The main role is to develop, oversee, and evaluate the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) to improve student learning.
What does the SSC do?
Analyzes student achievement data
Helps decide how the school budget is spent
Develops and reviews the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) Sets and reviews school goals
Works on the school safety plan
Determines academic programs to support learning
Collects input from the school community
Selects school improvements
Submits a site plan to the State Board of Education
