Your hard work, motivation and skill have prepared you to embark on an exciting journey of learning in depth about Spanish literature and the rich culture, incredible history, beautiful music, magnificent art, and fascinating people of the Spanish Speaking world: your world.

Your decision to take a university-level course now, while you are in high school, shows colleges your abilities, strengths, and desire to achieve the most that you can.

I am excited to guide you in your discovery of great literature and to prepare you to be successful on the AP Spanish Literature & Culture Exam in May. Your hard work and achievement this year will also be a solid preparation both for college and for life through the critical thinking you will do, the pages you will read, the analytical papers you will write, the discussions you will participate in, and the projects you will create.
