Memoir I discovered my love for spokenword at Foshay in 2004. I said my first spokenword piece in the tenth grade which was in 2002 however in 2004 I broke out of my shell and said a piece that was truthful. I recited this piece for the annual Valentine's show and it was about the break up between my ex-girl friend and I. I went on to recite this piece in college and at various other venues. This was the begining of a love that has gotten me through some rough times. I love Foshay...I miss Foshay..but Foshay lives on in my words. Foshay lives on in my poetry. I am a poet.
