Description
This course examines the political and economic relations between Latin America and the United States. Students will analyze this relationship by studying three major time periods: 1) 1790-1930 (Balance of Power); 2) 1940-1989 (Cold War); and 3) 1989-present (Post-Cold War). Students will investigate these three time periods through articles, lectures, discussions, documentaries, and independent research (Countries and People).
