I expect all of you to take the ESLR handout home and carefully read it. As you read it, reflect on the things you see and hear at Foshay Learning Center, in your classes, in the halls, in the cafeteria, in the auditorium, and on the PE field. Answer each question to the best of your your ability. Prewrite by jotting down notes and observations, organize your information carefully. Read what you have assembled. If it does not fully answer the question(s), think and write some more. Reword awkward passages. Take superfluous information out. Practice writing it out on YOUR OWN paper until you KNOW you have a good solid series of answers that is both accurate and honest.
When you have done all of this, THEN, and ONLY then, write the answers on the handout. Ensure it is done very neatly. There should be less than 5 errors in the conventions of written standard English in the entire paper.( If your writing is just awful and you can not change it I will allow you to TYPE the answers out( double-spaced).
Your papers are due at the START of our first class together next week.

We began Habit 3. We read about the Time Quadrants, labelling Important and Not Important items, and labelling Urgent and Not Urgent ones.
Next we looked at our schedules for Study Week and blocked out our time for study in each period, as well as whether a review would happen.
Lastly we inserted those assignments we needed to finish, projects due, etc. We then
labelled each item in our agendas and calendars as a Qi,Q2, Q3, or Q4. This will serve us well at a later date.Do not lose these papers.
