Mr. Kuhlmann's Welcome Page

Dear Middle School Music Student Families,

I hope this letter finds you well and filled with excitement for the upcoming school year. My name is Mr. Kuhlmann, and I am thrilled to be your child's music teacher at Foshay Learning Center. As we embark on this musical journey together, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a little bit about my background.

First and foremost, I am a proud father of two boys, ages 7 and 1. Being a parent has given me a deep appreciation for the importance of music education in a child's life. It is my goal to create a nurturing and inspiring environment where your child can explore their musical talents and develop a lifelong companionship for music. 

This will be my fifth year at Foshay Learning Center, and I am honored to be a part of such a wonderful community. The support and dedication of the students, parents, and staff here have made my time at Foshay truly special. I am excited to continue building upon the musical traditions and achievements of our school.

I will be teaching both Concert Band and Modern Band, and I am passionate about providing a well-rounded music education that encompasses various musical styles and genres. Whether your child is interested in classical music or contemporary hits, I am committed to helping them grow as musicians and discover their unique musical voice.

In our music classes, your child will have the opportunity to learn and refine their instrumental skills, explore music theory and composition, and collaborate with their peers in ensemble performances. I believe in fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to express themselves through music.
