Hello!
My name is Nichole Thornton-Brown, and I am excited to serve as the Title I Coordinator at James A. Foshay Learning Center for the 2025–2026 school year! I bring with me seventeen years of experience as an educator, driven by a deep commitment to student achievement and equity in education.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and I also hold a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a Doctorate in Leadership with a focus on Instructional Technology.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to serve in various leadership roles, including:
-
Grade Level Chair
-
Humanizing Education for Equitable Transformation (H.E.E.T.) Designee
-
Standard English Learner (SEL) Teacher Advisor
These experiences have helped shape my vision as a leader who values collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous growth. As your new Title I Coordinator, I look forward to working alongside students, staff, and families to support the ongoing success of the Foshay community.
Let’s make this a powerful and productive year together!
Warmly,
Nichole Thornton-Brown, Ed.D.
