Special Education @ Foshay LC

The Special Education Program at Foshay LC is differentiated by grade level:
 
Elementary (K-5) and High School (9-12) enrollment is based on "School of Choice" applications.  Programs and services offered for the elementary and high school grades include the following programs:
 
Resource Specialist Program (RSP), with related services
 
Middle School (6-8) enrollment is based on "Area of Residence" and is based on the address for the school's feeder pattern.  Programs and services offered for the Middle School include the following programs:
 
Resource Specialist Program (RSP), with related services
Intellectually Disabled--Mild to Moderate and Moderate to Severe Program (IDM/IDS), with related services
Special Day Program/Specific Learning Disability (SDP/SLC), with related services
 
The Secondary program follows a non-traditional rotating block schedule for a Seven (7) Period Day.  Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday four periods meet (1, 3, 5, 7 or 2, 4, 5, 6).
 
On Professional Development Tuesdays and Regular Tuesdays, all periods meet except Period 5, which meets more frequently than other periods, the remainder of the week.
