On November 11, 2011 about four hundred cadets in grades sixth, seventh, and eighth attended a ceremony honoring the United States veterans. They marched around the school carrying the United States flag and demonstrated how to fold the flag in front of the cadets. They not only carried it with pride, but also saluted the flag in memory of those who fought and died for our country. In honor of Veterans Day, seventh graders were promoted to Corporals and eighth graders to Sergeants and Staff Sergeants. The Brigade staff consisting of five High School Cadets: CPT Prado and CPT Vaquiz were promoted to Cadet Major's and Major Rosales, Major Harvey, and Major Sandoval were promoted to Cadet Lt. Col's. Col Persad also recognized Mr. Carroll, Mr. Taylor and Mr. Candler, veterans at Foshay<br><br>Thanks to Dr. Avila, Officer Gilmore and Ms. Jones-Adjaho who were guests of honor.<br><br>The Foshay cadets also performed at 2 retired Veteran's homes on Veterans Day.
