How many years at Foshay: At Foshay, it’s my 6th year.

Hobbies, likes & dislikes: I like to exercise, listen to music, read, study, and school in general, and go to nice restaurants. One thing I really dislike is rude people.

Grade levels they teach: Well at the moment I’m teaching almost all grade levels: 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th.

Subjects they teach: I’m teaching life skills and health. This class is all 9th graders, for their first semester they take life skills and when second semester comes the class’s name changes to health. The other class I teach is Environmental Studies; that class consists of mostly 10th and 11th graders and maybe one or two 12th graders.

Short description of what the students learn:
Life Skills: mostly decision making, learning how to fill out college applications, it’s pretty much just preparation for everything for the future.
Health: how to promote wellness, I show students how to apply that to their everyday lives. Basically it’s teaching them good behavior. A major project of theirs at the moment is to create a website that teaches them about alcohol and tobacco.
Environmental Studies: I teach my students the development of science behind the environment with experiments. Their major project or experiment is to work in our Foshay garden.
