Course Description

College and Career Readiness is a Fall Elective Course designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue the college and/or career of your dreams. This course will be followed with a course of a different title in the Spring, but will maintain the same concepts. The course walks you through not only academic preparation for the PSAT and SAT tests during your 11th grade year, but also with instruction of organizational skills, decision-making, time-management, citizenship, and ethical behavior. Among the varied activities in this course, students will hone their English and Math skills in preparation for the PSAT and SAT exams, research college or universities, research a potential career, conduct interviews, fill out job applications, and learn how to think critically about one’s life.
